Getting away from your daily routine is a must, if you want to relax your body and mind. Only then can you be fresh to take up the rigors of normal life. So it is not a bad idea to spend a weekend away and get some much needed R&R. If you cannot afford a weekend getaway, you can always avail a payday loan to help you out. With so many online loan providers, it is very easy to find affordable payday loans.

Living in the city, many people forget about the beauty of sunrises and sunsets. So if you are wondering where you can head for this experience, here are the top 5 places to watch sunrise and sunset:

Anna Maria Island
Also known as Anna-Maria-Key, this barrier island is located along the Coast of Manatee County in Florida. It is popular for its spectacular sunrise and sunset. Watching the sun rise over the Tampa Bay can be as breathtaking as watching the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico. If you want, you can take an RV and head out on a road trip to Florida and catch the sun rising and setting at Anna Maria Island. You will not regret it.

Pacific Coast Highway
If you are planning a road trip on your RV, you just cannot afford to miss driving along the iconic Pacific Coast Highway, which is also the perfect place to catch mesmerizing sunsets and sunrises. If you don’t want to take an RV, a rental car is also perfect. You will not only have the chance to get some breathtaking vista of the Pacific, you will also be able to catch some incredible sunrises and sunsets.

Virginia Beach
Located in Virginia, this beach offers a unique opportunity to relax under the warm rays of the sun. If you want to cool down, the water is always there. It is the perfect beach for kids, as the waves are safe for your little ones too. The beach offers stunning sunrise and sunset, and you will be glad that you made an effort to spend your weekend here.

Santa Monica
The pier of Santa Monica, California is quite well-know and popular because of the uncountable movie scenes shot at the pier. However, you can spend some time at the pier to catch a sunrise, if you can wake up early enough, or a sunset. It can be a relaxing and unforgettable experience. You can spend your time in between sunrise and sunset taking surfing lessons, swimming or sunning yourself on the pristine beach.

The Grand Canyon
You can make your visit to the Grand Canyon even more special by seeing this natural wonder during sunrise and sunset. Take a trip to Mather and Yaki points to get the best view of the sunrise, and to Hopi Point for sunset. Getting to these viewpoints is easy, as there are regular shuttle buses. This free service begins an hour before sunrise and continues for an hour after sunset. All you have to do is drive down to the Grand Canyon and hop onto the shuttle. If you want to catch a spectacular sunrise at the Grand Canyon, be sure to dress warmly. Even in summers, the dawn air can be chilly.

If you are looking for the perfect summer getaway, a beach vacation combines both relaxation and fun for the whole family. This is a list I just compiled of the top beach vacations for families.

What do you think? Are there better ones out there? What are your favorite beaches?

Virginia Beach, Virginia

Spend the day relaxing with the mild surf on the beach. The waves are perfect for younger kids to jump in. Then stroll the boardwalk as street performers entertain the entire family. (And don’t miss the sunrise… it’s absolutely stunning!!)

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

There is a lot to do just steps from the sand at this popular family destination. Take in a round of mini golf or head to the amusement park. It is all within walking distance and perfect for kids of all ages.

Santa Monica, California

The famous pier we have all seen in countless movies offers lots to do with the family. Have your kids take surfing lessons while you relax on the soft sands or rent a bike to enjoy nearby Venice Beach (a hippie and hipster haven and very, very fun place). It is also just a short ride to Hollywood to enjoy the stars, scenes and interesting array of people.

San Diego, California

The pristine beaches in San Diego make for lots of family fun. The weather is perfect most of the year to enjoy the surf and sand. Nearby there is the world-famous San Diego Zoo, Sea World, countless outdoor activities and much more. The only hard thing about going to the beaches in San Diego is picking which beach to go to!

San Padre Island, Texas

San Padre Island offers the best family beaches with picnic tables and playgrounds. The attractions on the island are perfect for visitors of all ages; from fishing to the Sea Life Center, there is something for everyone on this picturesque island.
